Amarillo Occupational License

Start Driving Again

After your driver’s license has been suspended due to a DWI  related event such as an arrest or refusal to submit to a breath test, you can receive an Occupational Driver’s License pursuant to Texas Transportation Code § 521.241. This allows you to operate a motor vehicle to and from work, to and from schools, banks churches and other essential needs.

To be entitled to a Occupational Driver’s License, you must hire a lawyer and file a suit in Court.  This is separate from your criminal case.  David Enos will file the suit and go before the Judge to request you Occupational License.

In order to get court approval you will have to have an SR-22 which is a State form the shows you have the required liability insurance.
